what we do

Need a hero module that matches the current style

The Stance Risk site currently includes an Article module, but the requester reports that editors must rely on HTML to achieve the styling that appears on the front end. The business needs a simpler reusable rich text editor (RTE), or equivalent formatted-text module, that uses the site's existing visual style and supports common content formatting without requiring editors to write HTML.
The new module should render as a full-width text section within the page content area, rather than using the site's alternating or "ping pong" content layout. This should be treated as an enhancement/PBI because it adds a new reusable content-authoring capability instead of correcting guaranteed behavior of the existing Article module.

Acceptance Criteria

  1. A reusable RTE or equivalent formatted-text module is available in the appropriate Stance Risk page composition areas in Umbraco.

  2. The editor supports paragraph text, approved headings, bold, italic, bulleted lists, numbered lists, and hyperlinks without requiring HTML entry.

  3. The module renders as a full-width text section within the site's standard content container and does not use the alternating "ping pong" layout.

  4. Front-end typography, spacing, heading hierarchy, lists, and link treatments match the current Stance Risk design system.

  5. The module supports multiple paragraphs and headings in a single component and can be used more than once on a page where the page model allows it.

  6. The component is responsive across supported desktop, tablet, and mobile viewport sizes.

  7. RTE output is sanitized and does not allow unsupported scripts or unapproved markup.

  8. No regression is introduced to existing Stance Risk pages, Article modules, or alternating content components.

  9. The component is validated in a lower environment before Production deployment and passes R1 development and QA review.
